First Day - First Grade

I cannot believe I'm the mother of a first grader! But I am. Henry is growing up so fast. I remember my first day of first grade - I cried and my teacher, Mrs. Lamb, took me into the girls bathroom, put water on a paper towel and washed my face and told me to calm down that it would be alright. I knew then that I would like her and school. I did - I don't know that I ever cried again. I loved school. I hope Henry has that love also but I'm not quite sure. Once he saw his buddies he was fine. Off they went. So grown up, so independent.
