Homework

Last night was Henry's first night of homework in third grade. OY! What a nightmare. Mark said he was getting mad and frustrated. It's so upsetting to see him like this. As a kid, I loved getting home and opening up my books and doing my homework - why? Because I'm weird! So I went through his bookbag and found some papers and apparently the teacher asked the kids to write down their hopes and dreams. Here is what Henry wrote. The teacher must have scribbled out the first bit (in red) and made him write something else. In one sense I don't like that she made him redo it - but in another sense I can see her point. I have to say - it did make me laugh.

Haha, I'm sorry, but are you sure your son wrote that, and you didn't dig it out of your box from when you were in school???
I think he was just frustrated like you said. Ummm, my guess is the teacher scratched through what he wrote because it wasn't a hope or dream, but a complaint...Yup that would be my nephew.
